We designed the spacer to use an O-ring to seal on the mating surfaces so you never have to worry about a boost leak or getting that silicone junk all over the place. Lid Spacers feature 1/8 NPT ports above the runners, allowing you to simply remove the plugs and bolt on a Performance Direct Port Water/Methanol system. This provides you with an equal distribution of water/methanol across all cylinders for those looking to maximize performance and reliability! The Performance Billet LSA Lid Spacer is precisely carved from a solid sheet of 5/8 inch billet aluminum by 's CNC machines. Our proprietary design increases plenum volume similar to the other spacers on the market but we go a step further by eliminating the horsepower robbing "step" on the edge of the intake runners. Our flow-enhancing ramps eliminate turbulence and increase port velocity for increased horsepower. It's like having your supercharger ported but it's even better because our design increases runner length for greater torque gains. Other common lid spacers require the use of a silicone gasket maker or paper gaskets which can lead to an ugly mess and potentially a bad seal!
