- Inside diameter must be bored and honed to size piston after installation.
- CI (Cast-In Liner - Partial Removal): The original cylinder barrel has a cast-in iron liner fused inside the aluminum. The machinist must bore out the inside of that factory iron layer to accept the new sleeve, but the original factory liner must not be completely removed. The new sleeve is engineered to seat cleanly right inside that remaining iron jacket.
