JE Piston Sets -8 Cyl

Highlights

• Dual Velocity Gas Ports-combination of both lateral and vertical gas ports, providing the advantages of both. DVGP's provide positive gas pressure to the back side of the top ring w/out the carbon buildup of the traditional vertical style.
• Contact Reduction-Reduce the amount of contact area against the cylinder wall when the piston "Rocks over". Contact reduction also serves to disrupt the flame travel into the crevice area causing a reduction in detonation.
• Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design minimizes friction and power loss with reduced skirt width and saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin.
• Pin Fit-The pin bore is precision honed to attain an exact pin clearance. Clearances typically range from.0003 to.0010 between the wrist pin and pin bore.
• Custom Level Features: Smooth Crown Finish-Deburs all areas around the valve pocket and dome area to reduces stress risers and prevent hot spots.
• Standard Features: Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, yielding high tensile strength needed for high-demand performance applications.
• Designed specifically for 23 Degree Small Block Chevy Engines To provide optimized performance durability.
• Includes high-quality wrist pins and locks.
• Made 100% in the USA.
