They were originally designed for R12 refrigerant, which offered far superior performance compared to today's more environmentally friendly R134a. CSF has once again applied modern design and manufacturing techniques to these classic Porsche platforms. CSF vs: The new 964/ Condenser utilizes a modern parallel-flow core design. Parallel-flow condensers are far more efficient than old serpentine style designs like the unit for the 964/.
