AFe is proud to introduce the new Takeda Axle Back Exhaust System. All aFe exhaust systems are engineered and manufactured in our Coronoa California manufacturing facility. This system uses factory mounting locations providing stability and hassle free installation. High quality OE style flange and band clamps are used for a complete 360 degree sealing surface. Dual free flowing mufflers are used to absorb high pitch tones producing a powerful sound and unleashing all available horse power and torque. AFe is proud to introduce the Takeda Axle-Back Exhaust System for the 2008-2014 Scion xB with the L4-2.4L engine. In recent testing, this system resulted in a max gain of 7 horsepower and 8 lbs. X ft. Of torque. This unique over-axle system incorporates a center-mounted dual tip that adds an aggressive and custom look. This muffler-less design gives an aggressive sound at high RPM's, yet maintains a subtle tone at cruising speeds. The exhaust starts out with an OE-style flange and uses 2.5" mandrel bent, 100% hand TIG-welded stainless steel tubing with a brushed finish. To finish off this exhaust system, there are dual 3.5" Takeda laser-etched, rolled-edge, slash-cut stainless steel round tips. This direct bolt-on system requires no modifications and includes all necessary hardware for a hassle-free installation.
